THE THREE STAGES OF THE RENOVATION PROCESS ARE:
STAGE ONE: PRE-CONSTRUCTION
Upon receipt of your request for an estimate, we will contact you to arrange a free estimate in your home at your convenience. With any renovation, the most important decisions need to be made before the work begins and we take the time to discuss your ideas for your new living space. You have the option to meet with Darwin Bond (owner of Bond Construction) in your own home for detailed measurements and review the project concept details and how they can work in your space. Detailed design plans and renovation’s estimate will be provided. Upon your approval, Bond Construction will submit them to the City of Calgary for the building permit. Once approved, we will communicate with our trades and suppliers, setup your project start date and guide you through the construction process.
STAGE TWO: CONSTRUCTION
The first stage of construction includes complete floor, wall and living space protection measures, including dust entrapment procedures. We will disconnect any plumbing and electrical areas affected by the renovation. Inspections are mandatory in the City of Calgary, and only Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) cleared trades and suppliers are allowed on-site. Safety and quality control are continually monitored by Bond Construction. Depending on the project size and complexity, an average kitchen or basement renovation could have duration of 6 to 8 weeks.
STAGE THREE: POST-CONSTRUCTION
Bond Construction takes pride in its thorough cleanup of your space, after which we meet with you for a final walk through and sign off as a final quality check. If any deficiencies are raised, they will be resolved quickly and professionally within 10 days of possession. Bond Construction stands by the quality of their workmanship and offers a full 2 years warranty on all work. Quality control and customer satisfaction are among our highest priorities and measure how we achieve success.
